Hi Jim,
Thanks for the heads up on our web page. I will ask someone to fix it.
I am afraid I can't answer your question on the updating as I have no
idea why you expect just changing HKCR\logfile from Text Document to
Text Log to achieve anything but then you give me no idea of the
significance of Text Log.
I also don't have XP and also have no idea what Randy Birch is trying
to get you to do.
The Registry usually changes immediately for me but for any change
that is not immediate, I usually refresh it in Win9x by
Start-Shutdown-Cancel.
Perhaps a post to a Win XP group?
