Nope. Not at all. Everybody is some kind of sinner, not necessarily a thief.
Covered by this statement that I made:
"The 'chuu-goku-jin' is about as ethical as any other member of the species

"A thief is still a thief" means just what it says. Theft can't be
justified; not even to feed a starving baby. Certainly not as "payback" for
perceived ill treatment in the past.
