In addition to what's below, Microsoft seems to have a missing KBID...
When looking to find and download, Hfnetchk.exe I came across this
    page... http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=305385

Which indicates that hfnetchk.exe will be found at:
    http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=303215

That 303215 seems to be lost.

Does anyone know how to reconfigure permissions on an XP

    Microsoft offers the following:
    NT 2K
    http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=266118
Microsoft is offering the following for NT 3.5:
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/153094/EN-US/
I can't seem to find anything for XP. The Win2K version of
the article doesn't seem to work, though I find a defwkst.inf
    inside C:\Windows\Inf. I can't find the acl*.sdb anywhere, so
I opened the update.sdb. That opened fine, then I tried to
open the secedit.sdb. The message is:
Access to the database has been denied.
Does anyone have a suggestion on how to restore the
default registry and NTFS permissions on an XP system?
