All components of NAV and Live Update are part of Symantec's program and
not a Windows operating system component. Live Update only updates
Symantec products and is unrelated to Windows Update. Here is a link to

Since I don't use any Symantec products on any of my Windows machines, I
can't answer your question. You should ask Symantec.
