Kids are getting sneakier by the second... the best option is a BIOS
password. When the computer first comes up, you usually see something like
hit F10 for setup, or hit del to configure. The BIOS controls whether or
not the PC boots. Taking the power cord used to be a good option, but they
are $2 at Radio Shack.
If you rely on any of the windows accounts and passwords, it only a matter
of time until their little hacker boyfriends give them a boot CD like
Knoppix that completely bypasses you installed Windows OS.
Of course the BIOS password can be reset if they open up the PC... in which
case I recommend boarding school or a military academy.
