Also on visiting www.zdnet.com get a login popup window for adlog.com.com
(note com.com is not a typo).
For whatever its worth I have an ad at the top of the ZDnet website that
says "you are not authorized to view". Am I somehow attempting to login into
    the ad website?
Anyway I turned off the IIS Adminservice. Problem ended but cannot send
e-mail. Restarted and popup windows have returned!
I do have a bunch of sites listed in my windows host file.
Running NIS. No alarms. Also downloaded the beta MS Antispyware program. Ran
the scan - found nothing. Same with webroot spysweeper and A2 Swquared.
