Thanks for the pointers but they don't specifically address the 'ActiveX'
issues that seem responsible for security problems in IE6.
What I am looking for is a simple guide for the 'activeX' controls in IE6
with a simple explanation.
I have searched Google but without success.

With the latest security 'scare' from Secunia (I think that's right) there
now seems a compelling reason to desert the IE6 ship for Firefox.
