I'm getting very confused over the security issues of ActiveX Controls. I
understand that it is advisable to disable ActiveX Controls in IE6. If
disabled these controls in I cannot access the WINXP update site even when I
added the update site to the 'Trusted' site list. Can someone explain in
simple terms what the trusted site list is for? I thought sites on the
'Trusted' list could be accessed even if ActiveX Controls are disabled, it
appears I am wrong in this.
