I have not experienced that one, thank God. Pest Patrol may be worth a try
though it is no longer free as CA bought it and it goes for around $20.
There is also a new version of CwShredder. You may also want to search
Google for specialized tools and check AdAware SE to see if they have a
plugin that will help.
http://www.intermute.com/spysubtract/cwshredder_download.html -- new
CwShredder.
I had a real problem one once and what I finally did to get rid of it was to
disable "enable third party browser extensions", ran my spyware tools a
couple times, booted into safe mode and ran them again, booted into regular
mode ran tools again and then used BHODemon to remove any remaining BHO's.
Now there are good BHO's and my method deleted everything and I had to
reneable and reinstall the BHO's I wanted but it cleared out my problem. I
have had good luck with AdAware SE but you must make sure that you are using
the latest definition files and they change almost daily. Good luck with
yours. --- Steve
