Unfortunately, this doesn't really sound like a security question as much as
a general PC problem question. You might get a better answer in a regular XP
troubleshooting newsgroup.

My first thought would be to try to boot into Safe Mode by pressing F8
before Windows starts, then if you can get there, check the event log, run a
full scandisk and defrag, check your free disk space, the usual things.

Normally I would say search www.google.com for the error message, but I
think you gave an incorrect spelling and incomplete error message, so my
google search turned up nothing. exact word for word correctly spelled error
message is always absolutely critical when posting for help.

Is this your error message?

STOP: c000021a {Fatal System Error}
The Windows Logon Process system process terminated unexpectedly with a
status of 0xc0000034 (0x00000000 0x0000000)
The system has been shutdown.

If this is your error message, the MS article mentions Recovery Console and
mismatched files, which in my opinion is probably not going to help you.
[Typically this problem seems to happen when a patch or service pack was only
partially installed.] If so, you may be better off re-installing Windows XP
onto your system [or get someone to do it for you], and try not to reformat
or overwrite any of your personal files. If you're using EFS encryption to
encrypt your files, those might be lost. Check this out:
