Access Network Resources On Untrusted Domains

Hi Everyone,

I am clasping at straws here but maybe someone has some ideas. Some coders
have developed an application for us that runs split across two
servers(web/app server). The app server needs to access a share on the web
server which contains a pdf file that it sends to a server for storing.
There are no trust between the domains the two servers live in and the guest
account is disabled for security reasons as it will be an internet facing
application. Can anyone think of away of getting rounds this that doesn;t
involve anything particularly in secure, or something mad like mapping a
drive.

I'm just trying to save the coders from having to rewrite the app.

Cheers
