Hi Eric,
HijackThis is a very good program, although it isn't the same kind of
program as Spybot and Ad-Aware. It does not detect errors; rather, it is a
diagnostic tool that shows all entries, including good ones. I would
recommend the Cexx.org page (http://boards.cexx.org/) for people who can
help you read through your logs and figure out what is wrong.
DSO Exploit is actually just a false positive in Spybot if it ends with
"w=3". You can simply ignore it, or even disable its detection if you want.
