Spyware Doctor may be "betrayware". At the very least, Spyware Doctor will
not remove anything even vaguely serious until you purchase it and subscribe
to the service. Why pay US$40/year for this tool when Ad-aware, Spybot and
a number of others offer more reliability *for free* (you can donate to
their creators)?

Both Ad-aware and Spybot create backups of anything you "fix" or changes you
make, for simple-as-pie "undoing": Hence, no need to format and reinstall
Windows! (Did I mention they're *free*?)
