The anti virus manufacturers need to make the appropriate updates
before their software can be monitored by the Security Center.
Norton 2004 and some others already have.
NAV 2003 and older may never.

Contact your AV manufacturer to see if this feature will be supported.

No functionality of AV protection is missing.
It is just monitoring that is not possible.

To change settings, open Security Center.
Click "Change the way..." on the left side.
Check boxes as desired.
