You should write down the exact virus name found and either post it here or
look it up in the virus encyclopedia at your anti-virus vendor's web site.
The virus name is hopefully still in your anti-virus logs somewhere.
You could also look at, or rename, your hosts file. You also didn't tell us
your version of Windows, but look in %windir%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
using Notepad. It should usually only have one entry, which is
127.0.0.1 localhost
Windows will usually still run just fine if you rename the hosts file.
