Problem Description: I experienced a "disaster" in a
failed mother board. (determined after I replaced the CPU
and hours of nightmares) I replaced, go the system up and
running and in my infinite wisdom, decided to install
service pack 2. Failed completely (now I know why
(incompatible video card driver from ATI)) but I felt
that I must reinstall XP to survive. The questionare
teriffied me and I elected to install a second instance
on the same drive (WINDOWS2) Went O.K. but in the
meantime, a trusted friend suggested that, to be sure all
my data was safe, to install a brand new drive, reload a
fresh XP, and then I could safely retrieve critical stuff
from the original.

Bottom line, there is a profile called RAY (that's me, by
the way) that has all my digital camera images (via Canon
Zoom Browser) and my Outlook email .pst file that I
desperately need to retrieve. Family reunions, kid
pictures, you name it. Wife wants to kill me, them eat me.

No matter how much I change the new RAY profile I've
created in the "new", current, stable XP environment, I
cannot access the documents created by that profile on
the other drive. System says ACCESS DENIED. Even when I
log on as administrator, I cannot see those objects.

Can you help me?
