That doesn't surprise me, as NoAdware and Spyware Killer
are both on the Rogue/Suspect Anti-Spyware Products & Web
Sites List. They will do more harm than good. They are as
bad as the spyware they claim to get rid of. You made a
mistake installing those two.

CWShredder is the tool to use to get rid of the nasty
CoolWebSearch spyware.

With all due respect, your "computer guy" is isn't much of
a computer guy if his advice was to ignore spyware.

Very good. ZoneAlarm firewall is one of the most trusted
and popular free firewalls available. However, it won't
get rid of the spyware; it will only slow it down, so to
speak, and prevent it (with your input) from connecting to
the internet.

>Well, hope to hear from someone soon.

Visit http://www.spywarewarrior.com/rogue_anti-spyware.htm
and scroll down to "If Your PC is Infested w/ Spyware..."
and follow the directions there to help you get rid of the
spyware. It can be done but be patient, follow the
directions, and get input on the various forums listed
there.

Keep your ZoneAlarm firewall and continue to use it. Run
an virus scan with a trusted anti-virus tool.

Good luck.
