I have attempted to get rid of spyware on my computer and
did what many of you suggested; I ran Adaware, Spybot
Search and destroy, CWSshredder, Hijack This and
Spywareblaster (WHEW), all these scans found many items
and deleted most of them. Anyway after all that Spybot
and Adaware still showed items, but when I tried to delete
the found items it says fixing failed. I printed the
report and the items are PurityScan software (registry
key) and several downloadware: user settings (registry
key). Does anyone out there know how I get rid of these
from my system or registry????? Any help is greatly
appreciated.
