Windows Me. Spybot 1.3. Yahoo! Messenger 6,0,0,1710. No problems.

I don't know what might be different between our applications. One thing
that I did, I refused any Yahoo! extras, like the BHO, Yahoo! Companion.
Spybot may be having fits about the BHO? Try uninstalling it; way back when
I first got this HP Pavilion, I gave the HP Yahoo! BHO a try. I finally took
it off; it was more in the way than help.
