Deleted files on Floppy & Hard disk -remnants?

Simply deleting files is not sufficent to keep the data
from being recovered. Best practice would be to find a
utility that has the capability to zero fill the drive,
thereby erasing all information. At a very minimum, the
partions on the drive must be deleted in order to make
the data more difficult to recover, but this method will
still allow data to be recovered with a little more
effort.
