Firewall Problem

I am running Windows XP, have cable modem, also have a
router and am running a firewall on my desktop pc. I have
aol for my email. When I have the firewall turned on I
can not access my aol. Any suggestions as to what to do
to fix this problem will be appreciated. Thank you.
