somebody please help me

My Computer had that virus that come up a few days a go i dont remenber the is the one that you could get by only going on to internet and if your operating system is windows XP anyways with the help of of my computer manufacturer (hp) and $40 i paid them they helped me fixed it. but then another problem came up it look like i got spyware on my computer my browser got hijack, man it looks like i have gotten averything there is to mess up my computer i tried to removed it by with sw sherrer and spybot i also used spykiller i did a virus scan and nothing would fixed it it my co worker said that i needed to go on to the registry to remove whatever was left from there but i dont know that much and didn't wanted to mess up the registry i did a system re-store and it help a lot. it remove everything, but my computer has been re-starting by it self , if we are doing something on the computer whatever it is it res-starts the computer it shuts and re starts it again can anybody tell me what the problem migh be???????
? i'm hopeless
