my norton security keeps crashing

PLEASE HELP....when i run my norton security scan
everything is fine until it try's to scan my c.d. drive's
then i get a blue screen with the measage:
STOP:0x000000(0xc000001D,0x805239d2,0xa647f830,0x00000000)

IVE REINSTALLED NORTON SECURITY AND IT STILL KEEP'S
COMING UP,I WOULD REALLY LIKE SOME HELP AS I CANT SCAN MY
DISC'S AT THE MOMENT...THANK'S ANYONE WHO CAN HELP
