Hi,

I'm experiencing something a bit strange on 2 machines. Periodically a File
will appear on the desktop or in Documents and settings with the file name
'~' no extension.

Opening the file in notepad reveals, amongst a lot of garbage, the contents
of the address book for the computer in question.

I use NAV 2004 and Lavasoft adaware 6 on both machines, and neither program
reports a problem.

The 2 machines are not connected. One machine is a standalone running on
Win 98 SE, The other is a network box running on Win XP SP1. Both machines
are completely up to date as far as OS updates are concerned. None of the
other machines (3) on the LAN with the network box exhibit this behaviour.
However, none of the other machines on the LAN are used for e-mail.

Has anyone any idea what is happening? Is anyone else here experiencing
this behaviour?

Thanks,
David
