Unfortunately, I am also at a loss. Unlike others, I rarely hunt down the 0x
error numbers. Usually, there is also a verbose message along with that
error number, and the verbose message is often sufficient for me to figure
out what is wrong.

Here is an example I get when I deliberately try an unauthorized relay:

I have somewhat altered the format by adding "new line" after the comma;
makes the verbose part of the message easier to read. In this case, the
verbose part of the error message is clear; I tried to use a mail server
that does not allow me to relay from my ISP connection. The clue is the
"Server Response:" line. The connection was denied by the remote server.
There may be other reasons for the denial, but knowing that the server is
refusing to allow the connection should point the recipient of the error
message in the right direction.

With the MSOE error message, you can actually place the cursor in the text
field of the error message and use Ctrl+A to select the entire text message,
then Ctrl+C to copy it. Or use the mouse to right click; that automatically
highlights the entire text message, and allows a mouse copy. You can then
paste the verbose error message into a post for others to examine. To format
like I did, find the commas, and place the cursor to use the "Enter" key to
force a new line. Just makes it easier to read; so you don't have to go to
the trouble, if you would rather not.

Like Sadie, I can't comprehend the connection between Identity and email
"for" (or "from"?) MSFT.
