Rusty, It sounds more like an OE setting problem to me. Go to
Outlook Express, Tools at the top of the window. Click on Tools,
Options, Connection Tab. Are always ask before switching a
connection, or Hang up after sending or receiving checked. They
should not be. See if this stops the connection-dropping problem. In
ZoneAlarm Programs tab, give OE access to the Trusted Zone, and
Internet. Hope this helps. charlie R
