know anybody using Earthlink.

I agree that in this case, it isn't your ISP's problem.

I would recommend going back and looking hard at your spam filter
settings--which I know you've done already.

I know that MSN has competent support staff, because I met one, once, in
Seattle. However, I don't know how you actually reach them. Here's the
only route I know of:

I'm not aware of NNTP or web-based forums to support MSN or hotmail issues,
I'm afraid.

Your problem seems pretty simple to test and replicate, but given the volume
of mail they handle, I've no idea what the chances are of them being able to
pick those messages out and say what happened to them.

I do know that the admins of these servers can do that trick though, so at
some level it is possible, but whether you can reach that level of support
at MSN, I can't say.

I'm sorry I can't give any better suggestions--I'd love to hear what fixes
this, if they or you manage it.
