All these sites I am sure are great, but I can' t access them because whatever program is running is not letting me open them. I was able to install SpyBot but i still have a problem with the home page that runs everytime I open explorer.
How can I make sure that all the "backdoors" are closed?

Get a good antivirus and keep it uptodate.
Get a good firewall(znoealarm is a free one, nortons
internet security has firewall/antivirus/+more).
