I have many files (mostly word documents) that contain sensitive and private information all stored in many directories and file folders. Shortly I will be sharing my computer with my family and would like to prevent my relatives from looking at any of these files. I can easily lock individual word documents with passwords. And because locking each 500+ word documents would be too time consuming, I think that it would be just easier to lock the parent directory file folder. However, I do not know how to lock a parent directory or hard drive. My problem is: I don’t know how to lock file folders. Can an experienced user help me out?
