*If* it is using Windows Messenger, then a properly configured firewall
should block any ads using that route.
I *do* note, however, that Adcaster uses an executable file. Therefore, the
following advice applies.
Your computer may have been hijacked. For information about pop-up windows,
how to get rid of them, and prevent them in the future have a look at the
