Thanks for the feedback,
The network is Cisco switches and Routers, and I have
figured this is the best place to start.
I was just keen to see if it could be done through the
server 2000 tool-set.
I suppose it would be cool feature of DHCP manager to
assign invalid or nul IP's to specific MAC's....
I have looked at reserving an IP and then setting the
loopback address as the gateway (making it non-routable),
but from a security perspective its pretty lame and there
are ways around it....
