Sandi,
Good to see you...as always. I am glad that you too will have a link to
Merijn's wonderful "cleaning" program CWShredder.
Both you and your site are well known, respected, and referred to on a
regular basis. But listen, you know how this entire thread started by now,
and maybe having a different name for the link pages might put the less
familiar people "off" to a lesser degree. ;-)
Jim's page with "parasites" in it, and yours with "darnit" just may give
those who are really suspicious or paranoid the creeps. I myself have no
such problem or issue of that kind, and the name of both of your pages /link
/help pages bother me not in the least. <S> In fact, it calls a spade a
spade, and doesn't candy-coat anything.
Obviously I am not really asking you to change anything, and if those who
are paranoid can't do a little research to check things out or to help
themselves, well that's just too bad. I just didn't appreciate being told
that I was "speeding viruses". The name of the link is "unusual" for those
who are new or haven't been around the block. Perhaps if I were an MVP
(yah..right!) I would be viewed as more credible when providing a link. <BS>
Again, this really has nothing to do with you and your pages, nor ultimately
with Jim and his pages. More of a shortcoming from my half without a doubt,
in not explaining better, composing the post better, and providing better
references to support my initial post .
This is just my feedback on the "Flak" that I had gotten when directing
people (trying to direct) for the update. --
