I think Bear was trying to "introduce" me to Susan in a civilized manner. But you're right in that GST and I have discussed Tom Waits and my moniker and such, as has Bear and I on an occasion or two.

PS - Bear...you here? Did you notice that Mr. Waits refers to the "chaise lounge" and not "chaise longue"? I'm sure you did...very little (nothing?) eludes you. Again, as I've said previously, it is more consistent with his musical / lyrical "atmosphere". Brilliant lyricist in my view. An excerpt from another favorite:
