I downloaded "HiJack This" and was able to eliminate
registry files a little at a time and get rid of the
stuuf I didn't want. The program shows you a log of what
it finds and you check to delete, similar to Ad-Aware and
Spybot. The files I was trying to get rid of kept coming
back when I rebooted, until I removed the registry file
that was recreating them. The nice thing about HiJack
This is that it categorizes the files and you can get a
brief decription of what the catorgy of files does, which
helps to determine whether or not you need them.
