I think it is spyware. It tracks the web sites you
vistit and sends the info somewhere. Some people think
it is being used to signal your computer as a target to
be hacked. I found this site w/ a search on google.

I also found a post where some guy had the same problem
you are having. http://www.techspot.com/vb/showthread/t-
9633.html They referenced the same spyware.
I would get some software that detects spyware.
