HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\ComDlg32 -- mainly under the subkey " OpenSaveMRU ".
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\ShellNoRoam -- mainly under the subkey " MUICache ".
I understand a lot more about ComDlg32 now, and the MRU lists, but it seems impossible to keep anymore from being added later to the registry after you delete the ones currently used. If i delete all today, next week when i check, all the new ones will be in there. Does anyone know of a program to block MRU's from being copied/saved in the registry and or harddrive?
MUICache has as much if not more than the ComDlg32 Key holds. Also, previous programs i've used to erase and block MRU's and recent folders/files won't affect the stuff in this ShellNoRoam folder. If i deleted this key do you think it would affect my system in a way i'm not wanting to or know of a good program to use?
I don't want to be traced, at all!! If you find any of this out, you're way too damn smart.
