Same question - different twist..
What if you want to limit the sites to a few for only ONE user, but anyone
else who logs onto the machine can go where ever they wish? For example,
you have a "guest" account that users can use to log into and setup their
full account, but for that reason you only want to allow them to go to the
sites where they can do just that - nothing else - when logged into the
guest account. After they setup their account, however, you want them to be
able to turn around and log in as themselves on the same computer and now do
whatever they like...
I can see by the note in the above article - it is seemingly not possible
using that method:
"NOTE: Content Advisor settings apply to all users on the local computer and
cannot be changed by users who are not administrators on the local computer
(Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 2000 only). You cannot create different Content
Advisor settings for different users on the same computer."
But is there a way to do what I described? Anyone have any ideas on that
one?
