Hi, I usually have Internet Connection Firewall on, but
recently I upgraded to MSN Messenger 6.1 and now
everytime I connect, via dial up, 2 new services are
added to the Settings area in Advanced tab of my
connection properties. Both named msmsgs and with various
IP address information after them. One with the acronym
TCP and another with UDP. Both are checked to allow
external contact. I never enabled these, so was this done
automatically when I installed MSN Messenger 6.1? I
checked with a friend who also has MSN 6.1 and those
services weren't even listed, the only difference is he
has cable broadband. I know 'msmsgs.exe' is an official
file of MSN so there has to be a relationship. Also when
I'm offline and I check settings of my MSN for some
reason both services aren't listed, they are only present
when online. Also when I had MSN 5.0 the firewall
prevented my sending files, 6.1 dosen't.
