As everybody knows, Windoze operating system is like swiss cheese (no
offense to Switzerland please). Constant patch applications are
required to resolve the security holes discovered in it almost weekly.
All issued patches are necessary to keep, at a minimum, even with the
hackers who would exploit the various security holes known at any
time.

Application of the various patches, unfortunately, have side effects
such as what you have discovered.

This being a security forum, you should not waste your, and our, time
asking how to disable any security patches, to keep any games
operable. You need to spend your time finding how to make your game
compatible with the patches.

Your parents, in keeping your computer properly patched, have your
best interests at heart. Please help them keep your computer secure.

Cheers,

Chuck
