First off, if you had to rebuild your system to "get rid of IE" - that's
just wrong. I have several systems without IE that get updates from a SUS
server and - hey - look at that - I never rebuild them. I have serveral
friends who are like you and also prefer it not to be on their system
(although you could just not use it) - and they have no problem either.
As for the Digital Rights Management - yeah - I suppose some will find it
annoying. None that I know have actually had TROUBLE with it yet, but the
future is always uncertain.
