Doesn't matter about the OS. It matters that the Internet is still an
anonymous environment where scum can cause harm. Of course, how many
would discontinue using the Internet without that pseudo anonymity? If
everyone could be *easily* tracked to the person originating the attack,
virus, hack, spam, e-mail, web site connection, all transactions, etc.,
then you get folks screaming about [potential] privacy invasion.
