When you are composing a new email message in OE, put the recipient list in
the BCC field of the header (Blind Carbon Copy). This field is not normally
shown by default, so start a new message and then select View and then
click on All Headers .... you should now have a BCC field in addition to
the TO and CC fields you are undoubtedly familiar with.

Other posts mentioned being wary of people automatically tossing out mail
that does not have their email address in the TO or CC field ...
