Hi Mac. What I do on my computer is to use tools/internet Options/security and select
the "internet" Web Content Zone [which should already be selected when you open the
page] and then move the slider for security to high. If you do not see the "slider"
then select the default box first. I then select the trusted sites and do the same,
except move the slider to medium. Next in the trusted sites I select "sites" and a
window pops open. in the lower left hand corner uncheck "require server verification
.. ". Then in the " Add the Web site to the zone" I add the sites that I visit often
that I know most likely are very safe. For me I have sites such as Microsoft.com,
Amazon.com, Ebay.com, Schwab.com, Foxnews.com, etc. Those sites then will have medium
settings when I visit them and be fully functional. Then when I casually browse the
internet, those other sites will have high security settings. Occasionally I visit a
site that does not work right and I either have to temporarily lower security for the
internet zone or add it to my trusted site list. When you visit a site you will see
it's web content zone in the lower right hand corner. You can click that icon to
bring up the security box to make changes easily. The setting I use are very similar
to the default enhanced security settings that Windows 2003 Server uses by default
that includes some changes in the advanced page of internet options that you may also
want to implement. See the link below for more details on that. --- Steve
