I received an email about a supposed MS security patch
with an exe attachment pack2918.exe. The email reads:

"MS Consumer

this is the latest version of security update,
the "September 2003, Cumulative Patch" update which
eliminates all known security vulnerabilities affecting MS
Internet Explorer, MS Outlook and MS Outlook Express as
well as three new vulnerabilities. Install now to protect
your computer. This update includes the functionality of
all previously released patches."

Pretty impressive for a 1kb exe file!

I have no doubt this is a hoax, but I haven't found any
information about it and my antivirus software with latest
definitions didn't pick up the exe as malignant.

Anyone had any experience with this email?
