Critical up date continues to come up after installation

I installed the critical updateMicrosoft Security Bulletin
MS03-017 Flaw in Windows Media Player Skins Downloading
could allow Code Execution (817787)on Sept 1 2003. Since
that time the windows critical update screen comes up
saying that this update needs to be installed. How do you
prevent this condition? Clicking "Remove" does no good.
