I have to disagree with Mark's comment that " no software
vendor can check their software for every possible flaw".

Why not? If hackers can find the flaws why can't the
programmers who create the stuff do it? It isn't that they
can't check it, it's that they don't want to invest the
time needed to do it. If they're not putting new product
out on the market in shorter time spans than they're not
making money and being passed by other companies.
