pop up

    I continue recieving a pop-up from a company that sells
    software to stop pop-ups.(DestroyAds amongst other names)
    It tells me I have an open port. I go to messenger -
    tools - options - privacy and it is off / blank. I cannot
    stop the durn pop up. I would appreciate any help.
