I own Word 97. Bulletin MS03-035 "Patch Availability"
section links to KB827647 article "Overview of the Word 97
Security Hotfix: September 3, 2003". This article does not
link to a download patch file. It links to the "Contact
Microsoft Support" page and wants you to call in an
incident. The phone lines are overloaded. I tried online
support but it refused my valid product ID.
Does anyone have a link to the hotfix for this problem in
Word 97?
How does Microsoft expect to protect itself from it's own
software when customers can't get an already developed and
announced hotfix for the problem?
