Attachments and AV updates

Just a note of caution to all those folks receiving the malicious
"update" attachments purporting to be patches from known companies.
First off, many large companies NEVER send software as email attachments,
and usually post public announcements about this.

Also, keep in mind that hackers can and do rapidly change the malicious
content attachments to be undetectable by the latest virus definitions update
of your favorite antivirus software.

Thus you can never know for sure if an attachment (executable
or otherwise) you receive which does not trigger your antivirus
engine into action, might contain a virus!!

Be vigilant, and NEVER OPEN ATTACHMENTS, even those
received from friends unless you are explicitly expecting them.
