I guess the firewall you have is not very good or set up incorrectly. What
is its name? Just stopping the Messenger Service is not fixing the
problem. The firewall should stop these pop ups if they are from Messenger
Service.
ShieldsUp!! wil tell you how effective the firewall is if you use the Common
Ports and Messenger Spam tests.
